Who we are
Buckhorn Construction LLC and Buckhorn Services LLC is a single team with decades of experience in home remodeling, new construction, and property management. We are a veteran-owned, dedicated family of professionals who are passionate about our work, our clients, and our fellow teammates. We are a highly diverse group with decades of experience spanning construction, military, hospitality, and professional services industries.
We renamed and relaunched our company from Basata Homes to Buckhorn Construction in early 2025. As part of this change we are transferring our Virginia Class A residential contractor license to the new business entity. All construction and permitting will continue under the the Basata name until the transfer is complete in spring 2025.

Ricardo Iglesias

Basata Homes (now Buckhorn Construction) was established by Ricardo Iglesias after leaving a career as owner of Virginia Hardware and Mexicali Blues, both established businesses in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington. Customer service has always been deeply ingrained in all of Ricardo’s business, whether it be suggesting the best dishes to try at Mexicali Blues or providing the best home repairs and building advice for his hardware customers.
Since that time Ricardo has strived to simplify the process of home construction, renovation and repairs for his customers by providing renovation, new construction, and property management services throughout Northern Virginia and Washington DC. Ricardo believes in building long-term relationships, quality of work, construction and detailing. He takes great pride in the fact that he has been serving the neighborhood for over 20+ years. Josh Glazer
Partner
Josh Glazer joined Basata Homes (now Buckhorn Construction) in 2021 after a dozen years building the U.S. Federal budget at the Office of Management & Budget. Prior to joining the Federal government Josh worked in commercial consulting, finance, and served over four years in the U.S. Army. Growing up on a farm in rural Mississippi, Josh is no stranger to construction and hard work in general. Josh renovated his own home, built with Habitat, and has spent the last three decades building everything from databases and budgets to houses and furniture.
